Have you been ill on your journey?

Actually I have had a runny nose for a while that began back in the tropics. I know why I got it, because of lying under a fan during some nap times. The cabin temperature was reaching 94 degrees during the heat of the day, but a fan blowing directly on your face is not a good idea !!

Have you had a cold ?Not apart from the runny nose.

There are not any germs in the middle of the ocean and no one for me to catch a bug from except, whales, birds and dolphins !!

What is the temperature like now ?

Today is the 2nd December, my Birthday, and the water temp is now 63 degrees and the air temp about the same. I put my little cabin heater on last night just to take the chill away. It has been so warm for the past 30 days that I will have to get used to the cold again

Have you seen any fishing boats?

Yes, I saw an ocean trawler about 3 days ago and when passing an area off the Spanish coast, Cape Finnisterre where the oil tanker has just sunk, there were fishing boat every where.

Have you seen any cruise ships?

I think I saw one leaving the Mediterranean, when passing close to Gibraltar. It was way in the distance, about 4 miles and brightly illuminated, so it was probably a cruise ship.

Have you seen any sharks lately?

Nope no sharks.

Have you learned any new languages on your journey?

Well not really, but when we stopped in Bayona, Spain to avoid the Hurricane, I had to learn a few words of Spanish to be able to communicate.
