In response to our question about, what would be a penalty or a credit in the race, I would think that a penalty would be if you turn on your motor. Am I right? Yes, turning on my motor would be disqualification from the entire race! The engine is locked off with a wire so that I cannot tamper with it. They even put nail polish over any area that one might play with in order to break the wire seal. Of course in the event of an emergency the wire can simply be cut. What is the prize for the winner of the race? A big trophy and a lot of satisfaction. There is not an overall race sponsor so there are no cash prizes. |
